TECNO and RSG forge year-long esports partnership for Philippines and Malaysia

The collaboration begins on April 2024.

TECNO and RSG sign a year-long partnership to bolster competitive gaming and foster esports communities in the Philippines and Malaysia. The collaboration begins on April 2024 and builds upon their successful joint venture in 2023.

As part of this initiative, TECNO will continue its unwavering support for RSG Philippines while simultaneously launching its backing for RSG Malaysia in its upcoming esports tournaments.

Beyond the competitive arena, the two brands will jointly curate community-based local esports outreach programs.

RSG Philippines and RSG Malaysia players will also sport TECNO’s logo on their jerseys for the upcoming MPL PH and MPL MY Season 13 tournaments.

Fans can look forward to TECNO and RSG content and gaming activities, starting with the community livestream, Raider’s Rumble 2.0, in late March.

Additionally, the roster of professional players from RSG Philippines and RSG Malaysia will serve as TECNO’s official gaming ambassadors throughout 2024, starting with the launch of TECNO POVA 6 PRO in Philippines in March and TECNO POVA 6 PRO 5G in Malaysia in April 2024.

RSG Philippines, a dominant force in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB), recently won the ONE Esports MPL Invitational (MPLI) 2023. They also won the Mobile Legends SEA Cup 2022 and the MPL PH Season 9 in 2022.

Meanwhile, RSG Malaysia won the Kohai SEA Championship Season 2 in 2023 and the MPL Malaysia Season 7.

TECNO and RSG are also committed to community development. Expect local outreach programs, community livestreams, and engaging on-ground activities in the Philippines and Malaysia.
