Smart Communications launches Smart Phone Protect, a new and affordable mobile phone protection plan.
This program is available to both prepaid and postpaid subscribers, providing coverage for screen repair, accidental damage, and liquid damage. The basic plan starts at PHP 125 annually, with the cost increasing based on the value of the device.
For an extra layer of security, Smart offers Phone Protect+, which covers theft or loss due to fire. This plan starts at PHP 180 per year. Both Phone Protect and Phone Protect+ cater to devices valued between PHP 5,000 and PHP 100,000, depending on the specific Smart plan chosen.
Smart Phone Protect isn’t just for new devices. Existing devices in good working condition are also eligible for coverage, regardless of whether they were purchased from Smart or elsewhere.
The program is powered by Igloo, an InsureTech company, streamlining the repair or replacement process. Metro Manila users can expect a particularly fast turnaround time on claims, with device repairs completed in as little as 24 hours.

Subscribing to a Smart Phone Protect plan is easy. Just visit smrt.ph/phoneprotect and enter your name, mobile number, email address, and phone details.
Choose your preferred plan and payment terms, then pay conveniently through your mobile wallet, debit card, or credit card. Upon successful enrollment, your policy will be sent to your email.
