Apple’s iPhone 15 lineup offers a compelling choice for budget-conscious users who prioritize a large display and long battery life. The iPhone 15 Plus stands out for these very reasons, despite being overshadowed by its pricier “Pro” siblings.
While the iPhone 15 Pro boasts a more powerful processor and advanced camera system, the Plus counters with a massive 6.7-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display – ideal for consuming media or multitasking, an impressive 26 hours of video playback dwarfs the iPhone 15’s capabilities, making the Plus a marathon runner when it comes to battery life.
Moreover, color options are plentiful, with black, blue, green, yellow, and pink available. Internally, the A16 Bionic chip ensures smooth performance for everyday tasks.
However, the Plus model isn’t without compromises. It lacks the 120Hz refresh rate and always-on display found on the Pro models. And the camera system, while upgraded and powerful on its own right, isn’t on par with the Pro’s capabilities.
A key design shift across the iPhone 15 line is the adoption of USB-C, replacing the proprietary Lightning port. This allows for more universal charging compatibility.
