Ahead of its launch on July 16, OnePlus announced that the Nord 4 is going to get up to 6 years of support. The upcoming device is promised 4 years of Android updates and 6 years of security updates, ensuring it lasts longer in the hands of consumers.

This update commitment is longer than any other mid-range device in the market right now. In comparison, the Samsung Galaxy A55 will only get up to 5 years of support.
In the meantime, iPhones, Google’s Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro, and Samsung’s flagship Galaxy S24 Series are all promised up to 7 years of updates.
Most details about the Nord 4 remain under wraps. However, OnePlus did say it will have an “extremely thin” body at just 0.8cm with the “largest battery ever.”
The phone will come with a sleek all-metal unibody design with smooth curves. It will also come in two colors: Mercurial Silver and Obsidian Midnight.

As for the rest of the specs, reports indicate that the phone could be a rebadged OnePlus Ace 3V, a China-only model. If that’s the case, expect to see a 120Hz 6.74-inch AMOLED display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor, and a 50MP main camera with OIS.
