OPPO released a new Livephoto feature for the OPPO Reno12 and Reno12 Pro. The phones, which launched in July, will get the update via OTA.

The OPPO Reno12 and Reno12 Pro feature a MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Energy processor with 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM, 256GB or 512GB storage options, and 5000mAh batteries with 80W fast charging.

Both devices come with the AI Studio app pre-installed. The app can create digital avatars from any portrait photo.

The phones have triple camera setups at the back but with different configurations. The Reno12 Pro has a 50MP main with OIS, a 50MP telephoto, and an 8MP ultra-wide lens. It also has a 50MP selfie shooter. The Reno12, on the other hand, has a 50MP main camera with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide, and a 2MP macro lens. For selfies, it has a 32MP front shooter instead.
