ASUS ROG has launched the ROG Ally X in the Philippines, priced at Php 56,995. This second-generation handheld device introduces several significant upgrades from its predecessor.
One of the most notable changes is the relocation of the microSD card slot, which has been moved away from the exhaust vent. Additionally, the Ally X has improved the battery capacity from 40W to 80W, as well as the memory and storage, now featuring 24GB LPDDR5 RAM and up to 1TB SSD.
Most of the other features remain the same as the first Ally. The ROG Ally X has a 7-inch Full HD IPS touchscreen with a 120Hz refresh rate and FreeSync Premium. It has an AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme chipset, paired with 24GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB SSD.
The Ally X includes two USB-C ports: one Thunderbolt 4 and one USB 3.2 Gen 2, which supports DisplayPort and power delivery.
It has an asymmetrical stick layout, flat face buttons, dish-shaped D-pad, and two rear paddles that can be remapped to any function. It also has a gyro sensor for motion controls.
The device runs on Windows 11 Home with Armoury Crate SE, meaning supports thousands of games from various platforms, including Steam, Epic Games Store, GOG, Origin, and Xbox Game Pass.
Price and Availability
The ASUS ROG Ally X is priced at Php 56,995 in the Philippines. It is now available in authorized ROG Exclusive Stores nationwide.
Each purchase includes a complimentary 3-month PC Game Pass subscription, the ASUS 4A Quality and Service warranty package, and the ASUS Preventive Maintenance Service.
