Acer enters the handheld gaming market with Nitro Blaze 7

Acer has unveiled its first handheld gaming PC in the Nitro Blaze 7. This compact powerhouse boasts impressive specs for smooth and immersive gameplay on the move.

The Nitro Blaze 7 boasts an AMD Ryzen 7 8840HS processor, paired with AMD Radeon 780M graphics, 16GB of LPDDR5x memory, and up to 2TB of M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD storage. It also features AI capabilities, highlighted by the 39 total AI TOPS.

The handheld gaming device has a 7-inch full HD IPS display with a touch panel, AMD FreeSync Premium technology, and a smooth 144 Hz refresh rate. The system runs on Windows 11 and features Acer’s new Game Space application, which offers a centralized hub for managing and optimizing games. It is also fully compatible with major gaming platforms and bundled with 3 months of PC Game Pass.

For connectivity, the Nitro Blaze 7 has Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3. It also includes a USB-C port with fast charging, and a MicroSD card reader to expand storage.
