vivo V40 5G with ZEISS optics official in the Philippines, price revealed

The vivo V40 5G is finally official in the Philippines. vivo’s latest flagship is priced at Php 26,999 for the 12GB+256GB model and Php 29,999 for the 12GB+512GB model.

The handset is now available for pre-order until September 27 on vivo’s official website, Shopee, Lazada, or any concept store or kiosk nationwide.

The vivo V40 5G boasts three 50MP cameras, all with ZEISS optics. The two at the back have a 50MP main sensor and 50MP ultra-wide lens, supported by the AI Aura Light and AI 3D Studio Lighting features. Meanwhile at the front is a 50MP holepunch shooter for selfies and video calls.

The phone features the Gemini Ring Design with a unique camera module and sports a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 2800×1260 resolution, a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 4500 nits.

The V40 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor with 12GB of RAM, up to 12GB RAM expansion, and 256GB or 512GB of storage. It also has a hefty 5500mAh BlueVolt battery, supported by 80W fast charging.

Also on board is an in-display fingerprint scanner, Funtouch OS 14 based on Android 14, and an IP68 dust and water rating.

Price and Pre-order Details

The vivo V40 5G comes in two colors: Stellar Silver and Nebula Purple. It is priced at Php 26,999 for the 12GB+256GB model and Php 29,999 for the 12GB+512GB model.

You can pre-order the handset on vivo’s official website, Shopee, Lazada, and other concept stores or kiosks nationwide. Pre-orders come with a Php 2,000 discount (voucher can be redeemed from September 28 to October 16) and a vivo TWS 3e worth Php 1,999.
