The vivo V40 Grand Launch last September 18 at Okada Manila was a star-studded affair, featuring brand ambassadors Anne Curtis and Maine Mendoza. The event showcased the phone’s innovative features and stunning design.
Both Curtis and Mendoza graced the stage, their looks inspired by the vibrant colorways of the new vivo V40. The duo posed for photos at interactive booths, highlighting the phone’s capabilities. The vivo V40’s powerful 50MP cameras, co-engineered with ZEISS, captured their portraits in stunning detail.
The ZEISS Multifocal Portrait feature brought the photos to life, giving them a professional quality. This feature allows users to capture portraits using three popular focal lengths: 24mm, 35mm, and 50mm.
Beyond photography, the vivo V40 impressed with its ultra-slim design and powerful performance. Phil Zhong from vivo Headquarters introduced the phone’s features, including the 5500mAh BlueVolt battery and IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.
Daniel Goetz from vivo Europe delved into the phone’s imaging capabilities, while Franziska Hoffman from ZEISS Consumer Products shared advancements in the vivo-ZEISS collaboration.
The event was filled with excitement, including games with Anne, Maine, and NBA champion Robert Horry. Lucky guests won prizes such as the vivo TWS 3e and autographed memorabilia.
The group also took a memorable groufie using vivo V40’s 50MP ZEISS Group Selfie Camera, which features autofocus and a 92-degree field of view, ensuring that no one was left out of the shot.
Curtis and Mendoza also shared their favorite features of the vivo V40. Curtis was impressed with the cameras and the phone’s durability. “I just found out that it’s dust and waterproof, up to 1.5 meters for 30 minutes! Isn’t that amazing? It’s perfect for traveling.”
Mendoza loved the ZEISS All Main Camera and the AI Aura Light. “I also love to travel, so having a professional-grade pocket camera wherever I go is really convenient.”
The vivo V40 is now available for pre-order until September 27 with an exclusive discount of Php 2,000 for reservations made with a Php 500 deposit.
