Now that the OPPO Reno13 Pro 5G has officially arrived in the Philippines. Let’s take a look at the premium mid-range phone’s most compelling features — the IP69 water-resistant rating and Underwater Photography mode.
The handset, of course, brings a plethora of powerful features and specifications on its own. However, these take it a level above the rest.
The OPPO Reno13 Pro 5G’s industry-leading IP69 dust and water resistance allows you to bring the phone into swimming pools and other bodies of freshwater in depths of up to 2 meters for 30 minutes, even without a protective case.
Keep in mind that although the phone is highly water-resistant, OPPO’s warranty terms do not cover liquid damage. It’s something to consider if you intend to use your phone around water for extended periods.
Meanwhile, the phone’s Underwater Photography mode will allow users to shoot photos underwater. Just keep in mind its limitations — only on freshwater, up to 2 meters deep, for up to 30 minutes.
This mode is found in the camera app, under others. When activated, the touch screen is disabled. The volume rockers double as shutter buttons for photos and videos.
Once done and out of the water, holding the power button for 3 seconds deactivates the mode, and activates the water ejection feature which uses sound and vibrations to remove excess water from the speakers.

Apart from water protection, the OPPO Reno13 Pro 5G comes with a MediaTek Dimensity 8350 processor and OPPO’s in-house X1 chip, together with a powerful 50MP Sony main sensor. It has a bright 6.83-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and Gorilla Glass 7i protection, and a massive 5800mAh battery, 80W wired fast charging, 50W wireless fast charging.
The handset also runs on ColorOS 15, based on Android 15, and has AI-powered camera and photo editing features such as AI Livephoto, AI Clarity Enhancer, AI Reflection Remover, AI Unblur, and more.

The OPPO Reno13 Pro 5G is available in Plume Purple and Graphite Grey. The 12GB+512GB configuration is priced at PHP 43,999.
