The Maybank Performing Arts Theater was alive in excitement on February 27, 2025, as vivo unveiled its latest flagship smartphone, the vivo V50, in a high energy event attended by celebrities and tech fans alike.
The highlight of the Grand Launch was the presence of vivo’s brand ambassador, Alden Richards, along with stars like Enchong Dee, Gretchen Ho, Nicole Cordoves, and BJ Pascual, in vibrant red outfits that matched the new vivo V50’s Ancora Red color.
The vivo V50 has been making waves on social media, thanks to its sleek design and powerful features.
The phone boasts a quad-curved display and comes with three 50MP ZEISS cameras, including a main camera and an ultra-wide lens, offering focal lengths of 23mm, 35mm, and 50mm. It also features seven classic ZEISS-style bokeh options, enhancing portrait shots.
The phone has a massive 6000mAh battery with 90W fast charging, making it one of the slimmest smartphones with such a large capacity.
The device is also built to last, with an IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance rating and upgraded Shield Glass from Schott, making it 50% more drop-resistant than its predecessor.
Performance-wise, the vivo V50 promises a 60-month fluency, ensuring smooth and lag-free operation over time. It runs on Funtouch OS 15, based on Android 15, and will include several AI features such as AI Transcript Assist, vivo Live Call Translation, Circle to Search, and Google Gemini.

Price and Pre-order Details
The vivo V50 is available for pre-order until March 14, 2025, with an exclusive discount of PHP 2,000. Priced at PHP 27,999, the smartphone will be available for claiming from March 15 to 31, along with a free vivo TWS 3e (worth PHP 1,999) and a vivo VIP card included.
