Samsung has officially launched the Galaxy A26 5G, along with the Galaxy A56 5G and A36 5G. This new addition to the A-series offers Awesome Intelligence and promises up to six years of software updates.
Like its siblings, the Samsung Galaxy A26 5G features a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 2340×1080, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 1200 nits. It also comes with Gorilla Glass Victus protection on both the front and back and an IP67 dust and water resistance rating.
Under the hood, the device is powered by an Exynos 1580 processor, paired with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. It is equipped with a 5000mAh battery for long-lasting performance.
For optics, the Galaxy A26 5G boasts a triple-camera setup at the rear, consisting of a 50MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro lens. For selfies, there’s a 12MP front-facing camera.
The device runs on One UI 7, based on Android 15, and like the Galaxy A56 5G and A36 5G, it will receive up to six years of OS upgrades and security updates.
For now, there is no information about the Galaxy A26 5G’s release in the Philippines. However, in the US, its price starts at USD 299.99 (approximately PHP 17,360) and will be available starting March 28, 2025.
