Lenovo announced new hardware solutions at the Future of Education Technology Conference (FETC) 2025, aimed at enhancing connectivity, collaboration, and engagement for students and teachers.
The latest additions to Lenovo Education’s portfolio include laptops running Windows 11 or ChromeOS, designed to support advanced digital learning and leverage generative AI applications for improved productivity. These solutions were also showcased at Bett 2025, where Lenovo shared insights on AI in education and its collaboration with Ducati in STEM learning.
The lineup includes the Lenovo Smart Charger, Lenovo Device Intelligence for Education, Lenovo 13w 2-in-1 Gen 3 PC, as well as the Lenovo 500w, 300w, and 100w Gen 5 PCs.
Lenovo Device Intelligence for Education
Lenovo Device Intelligence (LDI) is now available for ChromeOS through direct integration with the Google Admin Console. Managing the health and maintenance of fleets of Chromebooks can be a challenge for school IT teams, especially with constrained budgets and limited staff. Predictive, AI-enabled LDI technology provides tools to predict and prevent common Chromebook health and performance issues, maximizing uptime and lifespan.
LDI offers a centralized dashboard where IT teams can access fleet-wide and device-level insights, monitoring health scores, failures, performance-affecting applications, battery levels, storage, and more. It identifies current issues, past failures, and potential future problems. When a concern is detected, the system alerts IT with insights and recommended actions.
Lenovo Smart Charger
Lenovo now offers a Smart Charger for Chromebooks, a sleek and compact solution that redefines how institutional Chromebook users stay powered.
Capable of charging up to five USB-C connected devices simultaneously while providing real-time battery monitoring, this charger outperforms bulky, outdated alternatives. Ideal for education IT administrators, the slim and efficient device simplifies charging needs.
