TECNO has unveiled its new CAMON 40 Series at MWC 2025 in Barcelona, Spain. The flagship lineup includes the CAMON 40 Premier, CAMON 40 Pro 5G, CAMON 40 Pro 4G, and the standard CAMON 40. This series features powerful cameras and advanced AI technologies.
The highlight of the CAMON 40 Series is its AI-powered imaging capabilities. Notably, the CAMON 40 Premier stood out with an impressive 138 in DXOMARK’s Global Photography Ranking, earning a number 1 spot in Camera Score and a Smart Choice Label badge.
While TECNO has not yet revealed the full spec sheets, here’s what we know so far:
The CAMON 40 Premier features a 6.67-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. It is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Ultimate AI processor, paired with 12GB of RAM, 256GB of storage, and a large 5100mAh battery.
In terms of photography, the CAMON 40 Premier boasts a triple rear camera setup: a 50MP Sony LYT-701 main camera, a 50MP telephoto lens, and a 50MP ultra-wide lens. For selfies, it has a 50MP front shooter.
Next in the lineup is the CAMON 40 Pro 5G. This model has similar specifications as the Premier but swaps out the ultra-wide lens for an 8MP sensor. It has a 6.78-inch FHD AMOLED display and a slightly larger battery capacity at 5200mAh. The wired fast charging is toned down to 45W.
The CAMON 40 Pro 4G, on the other hand, has the same display size as the CAMON 40 Pro 5G at 6.78 inches with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is equipped with a Helio G100 Ultimate chipset. The camera setup is also similar to the 5G variant. Lastly, the CAMON 40 4G is similar to the CAMON 40 Pro 4G but with a 32MP selfie camera.
All the handsets in the lineup run an Android 15 version of HiOS, featuring AI capabilities for performance and image editing.
