It’s finally here, Marvel fans! The Fantastic Four: First Steps latest trailer has finally given us the first look at Julia Garner as the Silver Surfer. The cosmic herald makes a dramatic entrance, warning Earth’s heroes of an impending threat: Galactus.
In the new trailer, Silver Surfer descends from the sky and confronts the Fantastic Four — Reed Richards (Pedro Pascal), Sue Storm (Vanessa Kirby), Johnny Storm (Joseph Quinn), and Ben Grimm (Ebon Moss-Bachrach). She delivers a message: “Your planet is now marked for death.” As panic sets in, Johnny Storm, aka The Human Torch, attempts to chase her down, only to be knocked aside.
The trailer also teases the looming presence of Galactus, the world-devouring entity played by Ralph Ineson. While his full form remains hidden, the end of the trailer shows his massive feet stomping through New York City.
Beyond the action and introduction of new villains, the film unveils a surprising twist — Sue Storm is expecting a child. In Marvel Comics, her son, Franklin Richards, is an omega-level mutant who possesses psionic and reality-altering powers, making him one of the most powerful characters in the Marvel Universe.
Directed by Matt Shakman, The Fantastic Four: First Steps is set to hit theaters on July 25, 2025.
