The Municipality of Tanay, Rizal, has partnered with GCash to launch Rizal’s first digital payment system. This move will make financial transactions easier, faster, and more accessible for residents.
With GCash’s services like Scan-To-Pay (STP), BillsPay, Fund Disbursement Service (FDS), and VISA Cards, residents can now pay bills and receive financial aid digitally, eliminating the need for long trips to government offices.
Tanay is the first municipality in Rizal to offer digital financial aid disbursement via GCash, with VISA cards for added flexibility.
Before, residents had to spend up to ₱200 on travel costs just to make payments or claim financial aid. With GCash, they can do it from their smartphones.
Tanay’s move toward digital finance sets a strong example for other municipalities, helping communities become more efficient and financially inclusive.
As GCash expands nationwide, its goal is to simplify payments, support economic growth, and promote financial inclusion for all Filipinos.
