HUAWEI has officially unveiled the Pura 80 Ultra, the most premium model in its latest camera-focused flagship lineup, which includes the Pura 80, Pura 80 Pro, and Pura 80 Pro+.
The Pura 80 Ultra stands out with its advanced camera system, featuring a 1-inch 50MP main sensor, alongside a 50MP telephoto lens with an 83mm equivalent focal length and sensor-shift stabilization, a 12.5MP periscope telephoto shooter with a 212mm focal length, and a 40MP ultra-wide camera.
The device retains the 13MP front-facing camera found across the series for selfies and video calls.
At the front, the Pura 80 Ultra sports a 6.8-inch FHD+ LTPO OLED display with a 1-120Hz adaptive refresh rate. Powering the device is a 5,700mAh battery, supporting 100W wired charging and 80W wireless fast charging.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.2, and NearLink, HUAWEI’s proprietary wireless communication technology. However, HUAWEI has not disclosed the specific processor powering the device, only stating that it is 36% faster than its predecessor.
The HUAWEI Pura 80 Ultra is now available for pre-order in China, with pricing starting at CNY 9,999 (₱77,700 or USD 1,400) for the 16GB+512GB variant and CNY 10,999 (₱85,500 or USD 1,530) for the 16GB+1TB model.
