Epson Philippines recently hosted the 16th edition of Fusion, its annual media Thanksgiving event, from May 28 to 30, at Misibis Bay Resort in Albay. This year’s Fusion gathering emphasized meaningful partnerships that drive responsible innovation, sustainability, and positive community impact.
Opening the event, Masako Kusama, President and Director of Epson Philippines Corporation, introduced the theme EcoSynergy, highlighting the importance of aligning innovation with shared purpose. “EcoSynergy reflects the idea that real progress happens when technology, people, and sustainability come together,” she stated. Kusama also upheld Epson’s Engineered for Good commitment, focusing on energy efficiency, product longevity, and eco-friendly materials.
Noelle Gonzalez, Marketing Division Head, showcased Epson’s sustained leadership across eight key product lines. She highlighted initiatives to combat counterfeit inks and introduce value-added services aimed at delighting Epson’s customers.
Russer Cabrera, Senior Manager for Product Marketing, presented updates designed to improve Epson’s efficiency and sustainability, including expanded warranty options under the CoverPlus program and improved solutions for education and self-ordering systems. Additionally, Epson also showcased its advancements in large-format printing solutions for textiles and signage.
Sustainability was a central theme at Fusion 16, with EJ Sulit, Epson’s Sustainability Champion, outlining the company’s environmental roadmap, which includes achieving carbon-negative operations by 2050. He also highlighted community-driven projects that focus on waste management and the production of eco-bricks using recycled plastics.
Fusion 16 concluded with an appreciation message from Ed Bonoan, Sales Division Head, thanking media partners for their continued support.
