Acer remained the top PC brand in the Philippines during the first quarter of 2025, holding 35.7% of the total PC market, according to industry data. The company continues to lead in both consumer notebooks and gaming laptops.
In the consumer notebook segment, Acer claimed a 34.2% market share. It also dominated the gaming laptop category with 40.6%, showing strong demand from students, gamers, and young professionals.
Experts say Acer’s success comes from a mix of reliable products and smart marketing. A major part of its strategy is its partnership with P-pop group SB19. The collaboration began informally in 2020 and became official in 2021, helping Acer connect with younger audiences through social media and online content.
Recently, Acer co-presented SB19’s “Simula at Wakas” world tour stop in Taiwan. During the visit, the group toured Acer’s headquarters, met with company leaders, and received Predator Helios 18 gaming laptops.
They also explored Acer’s product experience center and joined a design workshop, highlighting the brand’s focus on youth and creativity.
With more Filipinos going digital and gaming becoming more popular, Acer’s strong market position and cultural appeal give it an edge as 2025 continues.
