HUAWEI is set to launch its new Pura 80 Series smartphones in the Philippines this August. The series, which debuted in Bangkok, Thailand, on July 22, includes three models: the Pura 80, Pura 80 Pro, and the high-end Pura 80 Ultra.
Leading the lineup is the Pura 80 Ultra, which features a switchable dual telephoto lens and a 1/1.28-inch sensor for better zoom and improved low-light shots. Its camera system packs 143 components, designed for smoother optical transitions and professional-grade results.
The Pura 80 Pro includes a 1-inch sensor, a macro telephoto camera, and an Ultra Chroma Camera for vivid colors and sharper images. All devices come with the second-generation Crystal Armour Kunlun Glass for added durability and scratch resistance.
The Pura 80 Series also introduces gesture controls, satellite messaging, and AI features like Messaging and AI Remove for easy photo editing. All phones run on EMUI 15 and access apps through AppGallery. Google services remain unavailable.
Exact pricing and release dates in the Philippines haven’t been announced yet, but more details are expected soon.
Sneak previews of the Pura 80 Series will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturdays and Sundays from July 26 to August 10 across 40 selected HUAWEI Experience Stores.
Early buyers can reserve a unit with a ₱500 deposit from July 10 to August 6 and get a ₱3,000 discount on the final payment from August 7 to 28. Early bird vouchers worth ₱2,000 will also be available through Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop, and the HUAWEI Online Store.
