HUAWEI has launched the new Pura 80 Series in the Philippines, featuring the Pura 80 Ultra and Pura 80 Pro. Both models are now available for pre-order with prices starting at ₱59,999. The Pura 80 will be released at a later date.
The Pura 80 Ultra comes with a Switchable Dual Telephoto Camera and a 1-inch Ultra Lighting HDR sensor.
The Pura 80 Pro includes an Ultra Lighting Macro Telephoto Camera for detailed close-up shots. Both phones feature HUAWEI’s updated “Forward Symbol” design.
For durability, the Ultra model uses 2nd Gen Crystal Armor Kunlun Glass, while the Pro version uses 2nd Gen Kunlun Glass. Both are rated IP69 and IP68 for dust and water resistance.
The phones also include a HUAWEI X-True Display with a 120Hz refresh rate and run on EMUI 15, which brings new AI-powered tools. Each device has a 5170mAh battery with support for 100W wired SuperCharge and 80W wireless charging.
HUAWEI also announced the XMAGE Awards 2025, a global photography contest open until September 15, 2025. In the Philippines, an XMAGE exhibition showcased photos taken with HUAWEI devices.
The company also previewed the HUAWEI MatePad 11.5 (2025), which includes WPS Office 2.0 and a Smart Keyboard. It will be available soon.
