Xiaomi has launched the Redmi 15 5G in India, with sales starting August 28, 2025. The base model with 6GB+128GB is priced at ₹14,999 (around ₱9,840 or $172). The 8GB+256GB variant costs ₹16,999 (₱11,150 or $195).

The phone features a 6.9-inch Full HD+ display with a 144Hz refresh rate and TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light certification.
It runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 processor and ships with HyperOS 2 based on Android 15. Xiaomi promises two years of OS updates and four years of security patches.
Camera specs include a 50MP main rear sensor and an 8MP front camera. Other features include a side fingerprint scanner, a bottom-firing speaker with Dolby audio, and IP64 water and dust resistance.

The Redmi 15 5G packs a 7000mAh battery with 33W fast charging and 18W reverse charging. The retail package includes a charger. It comes in three colors: Sandy Purple, Frosted White, and Midnight Black.
