Xiaomi 18 Pro series coming to PH this November

Xiaomi will launch the 18 Pro series in the Philippines this November. The lineup could include the Xiaomi 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max. The company has not yet revealed local pricing, availability dates, or final specifications.

The Xiaomi 18 Pro and Xiaomi 18 Pro Max first launched in China in September. Both phones stand out for their large camera module, which also houses a small rear display that can show widgets, mini apps, wallpapers, and other functions.

In China, the Xiaomi 18 Pro comes with a 6.4-inch display and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 processor. The larger Xiaomi 18 Pro Max features a 6.9-inch display and runs on the higher-end Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chip.

Cameras are a big part of the package. The phones feature Leica-branded camera systems with a 200MP main camera, a 200MP periscope telephoto camera, and a 50MP ultra-wide camera.

The China models also offer 2K LTPO AMOLED displays with adaptive refresh rates, HyperOS 4, IP69 dust and water resistance, and Dragon Crystal Glass 3 protection.

The Xiaomi 18 Pro packs a 7,000mAh battery, while the Xiaomi 18 Pro Max has an 8,500mAh battery. Both support fast wired and wireless charging.

Keep in mind that these are the specifications of the China models. The global versions could be slightly different, so some features and hardware may change when the phones officially arrive in the Philippines.
