HyperOS 4 update schedule revealed for Xiaomi, POCO, Redmi devices

Xiaomi has revealed the HyperOS 4 global rollout schedule, with the first wave of updates arriving in November 2026.

The update brings a redesigned interface, new AI tools, performance improvements, and expanded support across Xiaomi, Redmi, POCO, and tablet devices.

HyperOS 4 introduces a new Soft Light Glass design with updated visual effects, customizable lock screens, resizable folders, widget stacking, and improved notification layouts. The update also improves app launch speeds, camera responsiveness, and overall system smoothness.

AI is a major part of the release. HyperOS 4 adds AI Voice Notes, which can organize recordings, answer questions about saved notes, generate mind maps, and extract to-do lists. Other additions include AI-powered meeting summaries, real-time conversation translation, smarter photo search, and an AI creativity assistant for editing content.

The rollout will happen in phases, starting with Xiaomi’s newest devices before expanding to older models later in the year.
