Xiaomi has launched the Xiaomi 18 Fold in China, a compact foldable with its own XRING O3 processor, a passport form factor, Leica cameras, and a large battery. Pre-orders are live, with sales starting September 10 at 10 AM China time.
The phone has a 5.38-inch cover screen and a 7.58-inch folding display. Both use a full RGB pixel layout and reach up to 4,000 nits brightness. It measures only 5.02mm thin and weighs 219g, built with a new Dragon Bone hinge and dual-layer ultra-thin glass.
Power comes from the XRING O3 chip with a 10-core CPU and 16-core GPU. Configurations go up to 16GB RAM and 1TB UFS4.1 storage, with LPDDR6 memory on the top model. A 6,000mAh battery supports 67W wired and 50W wireless charging.
The Leica triple camera system includes a 200MP main sensor, a 50MP periscope lens with 3.5x zoom and OIS, and an ultrawide camera. The phone runs Android with Xiaomi’s foldable software features.

Color options include Red, Black, Warm Gold, White, and a Ceramic Special Edition. Prices start at CNY 10,999 and go up to CNY 15,999 depending on storage. Global release details are not yet available.
