Smart Communications is warning mobile users to watch out for scam texts that contain fake links. These messages are designed to look like they’re from Smart, but they’re purpose is to steal personal information.

Smart only uses its official website, smart.com.ph, in all its messages. It no longer uses shortened URLs or other versions of its domain.
For SIM registration, Smart sends smart.com.ph/SimReg only to unregistered numbers. If your SIM is already registered, you don’t need to register again.
Smart has blocked over 1.7 billion scam texts and blacklisted more than 369,000 mobile numbers linked to phishing from January to July 2025. The company continues to strengthen its efforts to protect users from cyber threats.
Customers are urged not to click on unknown links and to report suspicious messages. Reports can be sent to Smart’s HuliSCAM portal, the Cybercrime Investigation and Coordinating Center (1326), the National Telecommunications Commission (1682), or Smart’s verified social media accounts.
