DJI will release an upgraded version of its Mini drone exclusively on Lazada’s LazMall on September 25. The launch will be available exclusively on Lazada, giving users first access to the new model.
The DJI Mini is known for its small size and ease of use. It’s a favorite among content creators who want to shoot high-quality video without bulky gear. While full specs haven’t been shared, reports point to better camera features and improved flight control.
This launch comes as the creator economy in the Philippines is growing fast. In 2024, it reached ₱1.94 trillion, making up 7.3% of the country’s GDP and employing over 7.5 million people. More creators are turning to tools like drones and action cameras to tell their stories.
Earlier this year, DJI saw strong results during its first Super Brand Day on LazMall. Sales jumped seven times higher than Lazada’s biggest shopping events. Products like the Osmo Pocket 3 and Osmo Action 4 led the way.
DJI says it will keep working with Lazada to support creators in Southeast Asia. The upgraded Mini will be available starting September 25, only on the Lazada app.
