DJI is set to launch the Osmo 360 II in China on August 13, 2026, bringing big upgrades to its 360‑degree camera line. Pre‑orders opened on August 7.
The new model packs a 2,150mAh battery, giving longer shooting time than the first Osmo 360. It can record 8K video at 60fps, making it one of the most powerful consumer 360 cameras right now. DJI also added NFC pairing for faster setup and replaceable lenses for more flexibility.
These changes make the Osmo 360 II easier to use. The bigger battery helps for travel and outdoor shoots. Replaceable lenses let creators adjust to different scenes. NFC pairing cuts down setup time, which is useful for mobile shooters.
Pricing has not been revealed. The current Osmo 360 sells in the Philippines for ₱24,490, but local release of the new model is still unconfirmed. DJI usually rolls out new devices globally within weeks, so a Philippine launch could follow soon after the China event.
Competition is tight, with Insta360 X6 set to debut on August 12, just a day before DJI’s launch. Both brands are pushing upgrades to capture the growing demand for high‑end 360 cameras.
