NBA Hall of Famer Gary Payton made a special appearance at the vivo concept store in Manila to celebrate vivo Philippines’ 10th anniversary. Known as “The Glove,” Payton met with fans, shared stories from his career, and talked about his connection to the Philippines.
Payton, a nine-time NBA All-Star and 2006 champion, said he was excited to return to the country. He spoke about the importance of discipline, respect, and leadership, values he learned through basketball and now passes on to his son.
During the event, Payton named his all-time dream team. His picks included Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, Shawn Kemp, Wilt Chamberlain, and himself.
The event also featured the vivo V60. Guests tried its camera features, including a 50MP telephoto lens and portrait modes. Payton joined fans for a group selfie using the device.
