HUAWEI has launched the Watch Ultimate 2, a smartwatch built for serious divers. The new model can handle depths of up to 150 meters, a 50-meter improvement over the first-generation Watch Ultimate.

The watch also features sonar-based functionality, which enables underwater watch-to-watch messaging up to 30 meters and a one-touch SOS up to 60 meters.
The wearable keeps its premium build, using a zirconium-based metal case, ceramic bezels, and sapphire glass. It has a 1.5-inch AMOLED display that reaches up to 3,500 nits of brightness. The bezels are thinner than before, giving it a cleaner look.
For health tracking, HUAWEI added the TruSense system and a new X-Tap sensor. These tools monitor 11 health metrics, including ECG. The watch also supports eSIM, dual-band GPS, and BeiDou satellite messaging (available only in China). It runs on HarmonyOS 5.1 and offers calling and music playback directly from the device.

Battery life is solid, with up to 4.5 days of regular use and 11 days in power-saving mode. The Watch Ultimate 2 comes in Compass Black and Ocean Blue, priced at €899 (around ₱60,390) and €999 (₱67,110).
