Casio’s first automatic watch under the Edifice line is finally here. The EFK-100D is now listed as available in the Philippines on casio.com, priced at ₱18,480.

This new model marks Casio’s entry into mechanical watches. Unlike the usual quartz-powered Edifice models, the EFK-100D runs on a 24-jewel automatic Seiko NH35 movement. It offers a 40-hour power reserve and uses a bidirectional winding system. That means it winds itself as you move.
The watch has a 39mm stainless steel case and a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. It’s water-resistant up to 100 meters, so it can handle daily wear and the occasional splash.
The dial features a forged carbon texture made through electroforming, giving it a unique look. There’s also a date window at 6 o’clock and a see-through case back that shows off the movement inside.

It comes with a metal band and a one-touch clasp for easy wear. Several color options are expected, though only select variants are listed online for now.
Casio hasn’t shared when it will hit physical stores, but its online availability suggests it won’t be long (or already there). For fans of mechanical watches or anyone looking for something different from Casio, the EFK-100D is worth checking out.
