Epic Games has removed the Peaceful Hips emote from Fortnite following backlash over its connection to a recent Peacemaker episode. The emote was part of a collaboration with DC and featured a dance from Season 2.
We're disabling the Peaceful Hips Emote in Fortnite as we inquire into our partner's creative intentions in this collab emote. Assuming it's not coming back, we'll issue refunds in the next few days. Sorry folks.

In the episode, Peacemaker enters an alternate version of America that appears peaceful but is later revealed to be Nazi-controlled. The scene ends with a modified American flag showing a swastika. Fans noticed several clues leading up to the reveal, including an all-white cast and Germanic pronunciations of city names.
After the episode aired, questions about the emote’s dance began popping up. It raised concerns that the emote might unintentionally reference Nazi imagery.
Epic responded by disabling the emote and said it is “inquiring into our partner’s creative intentions.” The company also stated that refunds will be issued if the emote does not return.
