Team Liquid PH wins MPL PH Season 16, sweeps Aurora Gaming

TLPH and Aurora Gaming will represent the Philippines at the M7 World Championship.

Team Liquid Philippines (TLPH) won the MPL Philippines Season 16 championship after a clean 4-0 sweep against Aurora Gaming. The Grand Finals took place at the Cuneta Astrodome, with a record crowd of 2,300 fans.

Jaypee “Jaypee” Dela Cruz was named Finals MVP for his strong performance in games two and three.

With this win, TLPH secured its second straight MPL PH title. Both TLPH and Aurora Gaming will represent the Philippines at the M7 World Championship in Indonesia this January 2026. The country hopes to continue its five-year winning streak on the global MLBB stage.

The event also kicked off the Philippines’ campaign for the 33rd Southeast Asian Games, happening in Bangkok this December. TLPH’s roster and John Carlo “Caloy” Roma will join the SIBOL MLBB Men’s team. NAVI PH’s core players and Clarisse “CLA” Cordova will represent the Women’s team.

The event was supported by Sony Music Philippines, Infinix, Smart, BPI, Knorr, and Clear. Government agencies GAB and PESO also showed full support for the country’s esports athletes. Stay tuned for updates.
