vivo V60 Lite 4G review: Sleek design, massive battery

Features a well-rounded package, headlined by reliable software and impressive battery life.

vivo recently launched the vivo V60 Lite in the Philippines. The lineup includes three variants: 8GB+256GB (4G) for ₱14,999, 8GB+256GB (5G) for ₱17,999, and 12GB+512GB (5G) for ₱20,999.

In this review, we’re zeroing in on the most affordable option — the 4G model. We’ll take a closer look at what it offers and whether it’s good enough to be your next daily driver. Let’s dive in.

Design & Display

The V60 Lite carries over the same design language as the V60, sporting an iPhone-like aesthetic. It features a sleek body measuring 163.7 x 76.28 mm, with a slim 7.59 mm thickness.

The cameras are housed in a pill-shaped module. Our review unit comes in Titanium Blue, with Pop Pink and Elegant Black also available.

Overall, the design is solid. No surprise here, given its resemblance to the vivo V60. It’s sleek, clean, and manages to stand out in a sea of similar-looking devices.

Up front, the phone boasts a 6.77-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1800 nits. It supports Netflix HDR content, and the screen delivers vibrant colors with deep blacks.

The V60 Lite also comes with an IP65 rating and an anti-drop design, offering protection against splashes and the occasional slip of the hand.

As for layout, the volume rocker and power button are on the right. At the bottom, you’ll find the SIM tray, dual microphones, USB-C port, and a bottom-firing speaker. Up top, there’s a secondary speaker and another microphone.

Camera Performance

The vivo V60 Lite features a 50MP Sony IMX882 main sensor paired with an 8MP ultra-wide lens. For selfies and video calls, it comes equipped with a 32MP front-facing camera.

As expected from a sub-₱15K device, imaging performance is decent. It is more than capable for everyday snaps and social media uploads. Our test shots showed good detail and vibrant, punchy colors.

While the AI Four-Season Portrait feature is exclusive to the 5G variant, the 4G model still includes some AI-powered editing tools like AI Erase and AI Repair, which add a layer of convenience for quick touch-ups.

Performance & Battery

The V60 Lite 4G is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 685 chip, paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. If you need more muscle, the 5G variant offers a MediaTek Dimensity 7360-Turbo with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage.

It runs on Funtouch OS 15, based on Android 15. vivo claims the system maintains smooth performance for up to 50 months, a good sign of long-term stability. However, like most phones, it comes with plenty of bloatware. Just remove or uninstall what you don’t need.

In day-to-day use, the device feels smooth and responsive. We noticed minor stutters early on, but they disappeared after a few sessions. App launches are snappy, and multitasking is handled well.

Benchmark scores are respectable for its price point:

  • AnTuTu: 507,339
  • Geekbench 6: 467 (Single-Core), 1,338 (Multi-Core)
  • 3DMark Wild Life: 642

These numbers suggest that gaming is best enjoyed with low graphics settings, though tweaking the visuals can yield better results.

Powering the device is a massive 6500mAh BlueVolt battery. vivo’s BlueVolt tech allows for high capacity while maintaining a slim form factor.

Battery life exceeded expectations. In the PCMark Work 3.0 Battery Life test, it clocked in at 13 hours and 39 minutes. This was tested with brightness at 80%, volume muted, refresh rate set to auto, and airplane mode enabled.

That translates to roughly 11 hours and 32 minutes of screen-on time, easily enough to get through a full day with juice left for the next morning.

Charging is handled by a 90W fast charger, which took the phone from 20% to full in about an hour. A quick 15-minute top-up gave us 20%.
