Apple Music has named Tyler, The Creator as its Artist of the Year for 2025. The award recognizes his influence on music and culture during a standout year.
From November 2024 to October 2025, listeners spent more than 4.5 billion minutes streaming his songs on Apple Music. His album CHROMAKOPIA, released early in the year, became his most successful project on the platform, breaking first-day and first-week play records.
Tyler also headlined major festivals, including Governors Ball, Lollapalooza, Outside Lands, and Osheaga. He continued to grow his own Camp Flog Gnaw festival in Los Angeles, now in its 11th year.
Beyond music, he is set to make his film debut in Marty Supreme, directed by Josh Safdie and starring Timothée Chalamet. He ends 2025 with five Grammy nominations tied to CHROMAKOPIA and DON’T TAP THE GLASS.
