Samsung has officially unveiled the Galaxy Z TriFold, a foldable phone that opens twice to reveal a large 10-inch display. It’s the company’s boldest take yet on foldable design, built for both portability and productivity.
The TriFold is slim at just 3.9mm when unfolded and weighs 309g. Inside, it runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy, with up to 16GB of RAM and as much as 1TB of storage. Power comes from a 5,600mAh three-cell battery spread across the panels, supported by 45W fast charging.
Samsung refined its hinge system with a dual-rail Armor FlexHinge, designed to reduce gaps and improve durability. The main screen uses Dynamic AMOLED 2X with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1600 nits peak brightness. The cover screen measures 6.5 inches and goes up to 2600 nits.
For cameras, the TriFold packs a 200MP main, 12MP ultra-wide, and 10MP telephoto with 3x optical zoom. Both the cover and main screens have 10MP selfie shooters.
On the software side, the phone supports standalone Samsung DeX, letting users run multiple apps across different workspaces. Galaxy AI features like Photo Assist and Browsing Assist are built in, while Gemini Live adds multimodal AI for contextual tasks.

The Galaxy Z TriFold will be available in Korea starting December 12, followed by China, Taiwan, Singapore, the UAE, and the US. Buyers get a six-month trial of Google AI Pro and a one-time 50% discount on display repair.
