HONOR has announced the Magic8 Lite, the latest addition to its Magic8 series. This one is the entry-level model, following the Magic7 Lite from earlier this year.
Up front is a 6.79-inch OLED display with an FHD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and up to 6,000 nits of brightness. It also supports 3,840Hz PWM dimming to help reduce eye strain. For cameras, the Magic8 Lite has a 108MP main shooter, a 5MP ultrawide, and a 16MP selfie camera.
Under the hood, the phone comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chip, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB and 512GB storage options. The highlight here is the massive 7,500mAh battery with 66W fast charging.
Durability is another highlight. HONOR says the phone can survive drops from heights of up to 2.5 meters on hard surfaces. It also has IP66, IP68, and IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance.
The handset comes in Forest Green, Midnight Black, and Reddish Brown. Software-wise, it runs Android 15 with MagicOS 9.
