Sony is celebrating the 30th anniversary of the original PlayStation with a limited edition mechanical watch made in partnership with Anicorn. Only 300 units will be available worldwide, making it one of the rarest official PlayStation releases so far.

The design leans heavily on the first-generation console. The case comes in the familiar gray finish, while the dial uses the classic shape symbols from the PS1 controller.
The hands reference the Start and Select buttons. Overall, the watch keeps a clean look that still feels like the PlayStation 1.
Inside is a Miyota 9039 automatic movement and stores up to 42 hours of power when fully wound. The watch also has sapphire glass for durability and a 316L stainless steel case. It has a 5ATM water resistance rating.

Preorders open on December 19 at 11 AM Philippine time through Anicorn’s website. The watch is priced at USD 780 (roughly PHP 45,700) and is expected to ship in June 2026.
Each unit ships with a memory card-inspired NFC accessory that links to a digital memory board.

This is the first time Sony has released a mechanical watch under the PlayStation name. With only a few hundred pieces available, it will likely move fast once preorders go live.
