realme has unveiled the realme 16 Pro+ 5G in India. The phone brings a mix of high-end camera hardware, large battery capacity, and a new design approach.
The phone is headlined by a 200MP main camera using Samsung’s HP5 sensor, paired with a 50MP periscope telephoto lens offering 3.5x optical zoom, and an 8MP ultrawide lens. Meanwhile, a 50MP front camera handles selfies and video calls.
realme also introduces its LumaColor image processing system, designed to improve skin tones and color accuracy.
On the hardware side, the realme 16 Pro+ 5G runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset with up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
The 6.8-inch curved AMOLED display offers 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The device also includes an optical fingerprint scanner for security.
Battery life is another big selling point. The phone packs a huge 7,000mAh battery with 80W wired charging. It also comes with an IP69K rating for water and dust resistance.
Design-wise, realme is introducing its Urban Wild Design philosophy, created with Japanese designer Naoto Fukasawa.
The back cover uses bio-based organic silicone made from plant straw, available in Master Gold, Master Grey, and India-exclusive Camellia Pink.

The realme 16 Pro+ 5G starts at INR 39,999 (around PHP 26,280 / USD 444) for the 8GB+128GB model, INR 41,999 (PHP 27,610 / USD 470) for the 8GB+256GB variant, and INR 44,999 (PHP 29,570 / USD 499) for the 12GB+256GB configuration.
