POCO has kicked off 2026 with the launch of the POCO M8 5G and POCO M8 Pro 5G in the Philippines. Both phones are mid-range devices with solid specs and competitive prices, available only on Shopee starting January 8.
The POCO M8 5G features a 6.77-inch Flow AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 3200 nits of brightness. It’s powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor and packs a 5520mAh battery with 45W fast charging.
It also has a 50MP Light Fusion 400 camera, a 20MP selfie shooter, an IP66 rating, a slim 7.35mm curved design, and reinforced glass.
Meanwhile, the POCO M8 Pro 5G comes with a 6.83-inch CrystalRes AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and up to 3200 nits of brightness. Under the hood, it runs on a Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chip, paired with a 6500mAh battery that supports 100W fast charging.
It also has a 50MP Light Fusion 800 camera with OIS, a 32MP selfie shooter, Gorilla Glass Victus 2, and IP69K dust and water resistance.
Price and Availability
The POCO M8 Pro 5G is priced at PHP 13,149 for the 8GB+256GB variant (down from PHP 16,999 SRP) and PHP 15,899 for the 12GB+512GB variant (from PHP 19,999 SRP).
The POCO M8 5G is priced at PHP 9,999 for the 8GB+256GB variant (from PHP 12,999 SRP) and PHP 11,829 for the 8GB+512GB variant (from PHP 14,999 SRP).
