POCO M8 Series launches in the Philippines on January 8, price revealed

The lineup includes the POCO M8 5G and the POCO M8 Pro 5G.

POCO is kicking off 2026 with the launch of the POCO M8 series in the Philippines. The lineup includes the POCO M8 5G and the POCO M8 Pro 5G, both set to drop on January 8. The phones will be available in Silver, Green, and Black, with early bird deals (and a flash sale later today) on Shopee.

The POCO M8 Pro 5G is the more powerful option. It features a 6.83-inch CrystalRes AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and up to 3200 nits of brightness.

Powering the device is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor, paired with a large 6500mAh battery that supports 100W fast charging.

The phone also carries a 50MP Light Fusion 800 main camera with optical image stabilization, Gorilla Glass Victus 2 for durability, and IP68 certification for dust and water resistance.

The POCO M8 5G offers a slightly smaller 6.77-inch Flow AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and the same peak brightness of 3200 nits.

It runs on a Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chip and comes with a 5520mAh battery supported by 45W fast charging. The device includes a 50MP main camera and a slim 7.35mm 3D curved design with reinforced glass protection.

Both smartphones are set to launch in the Philippines on January 8. Official prices appeared to have been leaked. According to reports, the POCO M8 5G has a listed price of ₱12,499 (early bird price of PHP 10,499) for the 8GB+256GB variant and ₱14,999 (early bird price of PHP 12,329) for the 8GB+512GB option.

The POCO M8 Pro 5G starts at ₱16,999 (early bird price of PHP 13,149) for the 8GB+256GB model and goes up to ₱19,999 (early bird price of PHP 16,399) for the 12GB+512GB version.
