realme has launched the realme Neo8 in China, bringing flagship specs at competitive prices. The phone runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset and comes with a huge 8,000mAh battery. It supports 80W SuperVOOC fast charging and bypass charging, giving users more flexibility when plugged in.
At the front, the Neo8 features a 6.78‑inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate. It uses Samsung’s M14 panel with a peak brightness of 6,500 nits.
The design includes a transparent glass back with an RGB “Awakening Halo” light strip, a metal frame, and an IP69 rating for dust and water resistance.
For cameras, the phone has a triple setup at the back: a 50MP Sony IMX896 main sensor with OIS, a 50MP periscope telephoto lens with 3.5x optical zoom, and an 8MP ultrawide. A 16MP front camera handles selfies and video calls.
Performance is backed by UFS 4.1 storage and LPDDR5X RAM, with options up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage. Cooling is managed by a large vapor chamber.
The Neo8 runs Android 16 with realme UI 7.0 and comes with AI features. realme promises three years of Android updates and four years of security patches.
Other features include an ultrasonic in‑display fingerprint scanner, NFC, Wi‑Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, GPS, stereo speakers, and an infrared blaster. The phone measures 8.3mm thick and weighs 215g.

The realme Neo8 is available in Cyber Purple, Mecha Grey, and Origin White. Prices start at CNY 2,599 (around PHP 22,000 / USD 370 / INR 34,100) for the 12GB+256GB model and go up to CNY 3,899 (around PHP 33,000 / USD 560 / INR 51,140) for the 16GB+1TB variant.
At the moment, there’s no word yet on availability in other countries.
