HUAWEI to launch FreeBuds 7i with ANC and spatial audio in PH for under 5K

HUAWEI is bringing the FreeBuds 7i to the Philippines on February 2. It will be priced under PHP 5,000. The new wireless earbuds promise strong active noise cancellation, immersive audio, and clear call quality, all in a mid-range package.

The FreeBuds 7i features Intelligent Dynamic ANC 4.0, which reduces noise by an average of 28dB and up to 55dB at maximum. It reacts in less than half a second, making it useful for commutes, cafes, or shared workspaces.

For sound, the earbuds feature an 11mm quad-magnet dynamic driver with Hi-Res Audio certification. They also support Unlimited Spatial Audio with head tracking, creating a 3D soundstage that adapts as you move. This works across Android and iOS devices.

Calls are handled by a six-microphone system, a bone-conduction mic, and AI noise reduction. Together, these suppress up to 90dB of ambient noise, keeping voices clear even in busy streets or windy settings.

Controls include touch and swipe gestures, plus head motion-based actions to answer or reject calls with a nod or shake. Comfort is improved with a lightweight design, arc-shaped stem, and four ear tip sizes, including a new extra small option.

The FreeBuds 7i is rated IP54 for dust and water resistance. Battery life reaches up to 35 hours with the charging case, while a 10-minute charge gives up to four hours of playback.
