The realme 16 has gone official in Vietnam, bringing a refreshed look, a huge battery, and a focus on durability.
The phone debuts with realme’s new “Air Design,” which follows design cues from the iPhone and Pixel.
At the back, it has a camera visor with a 50MP Sony IMX852 main sensor and a 2MP monochrome lens. It has a small mirror on the edge, which lets you take selfies using the rear camera. Up front, there’s another 50MP sensor for regular selfies.
The realme 16 comes with a 6.57-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and up to 4,500 nits peak brightness. It is protected by AGC DT-Star D+ tempered glass and has an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner under the screen.
Inside, the phone runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 Turbo chipset with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.
Durability is a major highlight. The handset has an IP66, IP68, and IP69K dust and water-resistance ratings.
It also packs a large 7,000mAh battery with 60W wired fast charging. Despite the size, the phone measures just 8.1mm thick and weighs 183g.
In Vietnam, the realme 16 is priced at VND 11,490,000 (around PHP 26,100 / USD 443 / INR 40,640) for the 8GB+256GB model and VND 12,490,000 (around PHP 28,370 / USD 481 / INR 44,180) for the 12GB+256GB variant. It comes in White Swan and Black Cloud colors.
