TECNO has launched the Camon 50 and Camon 50 Pro, adding new upgrades to its mid-range lineup. Both phones run on the MediaTek Helio G200 Ultimate chip with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
The Camon 50 Pro comes with a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and a fast 144Hz refresh rate. The regular Camon 50 has the same screen but with a flat design. Each phone has a 32MP selfie camera and an under-display fingerprint scanner.
At the back, both models carry a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilization and an 8MP ultrawide lens. The Pro adds a 50MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. TECNO’s HiOS 16, based on Android 16, powers the devices with its own AI features.
Each phone packs a large 6,150mAh battery with 45W wired charging. They also come with IP69K, IP69, and IP68 ratings for dust and water resistance.
The Camon 50 and 50 Pro are available in six colors, with the Pro model adding an exclusive Ethereal Blue option. In Kenya, the Camon 50 is priced at KES 37,500 (around PHP 16,850 / USD 290), and the Camon 50 Pro at KES 44,000 (around PHP 19,770 / USD 341). Wider availability is expected soon.
