OPPO debuts A6 series with big batteries and practical features

OPPO has debuted its new A6 series in China, adding four models to its mid-range lineup. These phones are different from the global release. They share a focus on large batteries and everyday usability, with differences in display, charging speed, and cameras.

The OPPO A6 is the most capable of the group. It has a 6.57-inch AMOLED screen, a huge 7,000mAh battery, and 80W fast charging.

Inside is a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chip with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. It also comes with IP68/IP69 water resistance, a 50MP main camera, and a 16MP selfie shooter.

The A6s and A6i+ are similar to each other. Both feature a 6.75-inch LCD display, the same 7,000mAh battery but slower 45W charging, and an 8MP front camera. They also run on the Dimensity 6300 with storage options up to 256GB.

The A6v is the most affordable. It has a smaller 6,500mAh battery, 45W charging, and a 5MP selfie camera. Its IP64 rating is lower, but it still offers durability and long battery life.

Prices start at CNY 1,600 (around PHP 13,380 / USD 230) for the A6, while the A6i+ model starts at CNY 1,500 (around PHP 12,540 / USD 218) and the A6v at CNY 1,200 (PHP 10,030 / USD 174).
