POCO has launched the POCO X8 Pro Max in the Philippines, bringing its most powerful X Series device yet. The phone comes with flagship performance, a massive battery, and a premium design, with prices starting at ₱18,999.
The POCO X8 Pro Max is the first smartphone to use MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500s chip, built on a 3nm process with speeds up to 3.73GHz. It is paired with 12GB RAM and up to 512GB storage.
For cooling, POCO added its 3D IceLoop system with a large 5,800mm² liquid cooling area, helping the phone maintain stable performance during gaming and heavy use.
Battery life is another highlight. The X8 Pro Max has an 8,500mAh battery, the largest POCO has ever used, capable of lasting up to two days on a single charge. It supports 100W fast charging and 27W reverse charging.
POCO says the battery can retain over 80 percent of its capacity even after 1,600 charge cycles, which is about six years of regular use.
The phone features a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 3,500 nits peak brightness. It supports TÜV Rheinland eye-care certifications and features an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor for fast unlocking.
Audio is handled by dual symmetrical speakers with Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res Audio, with features like a 400 percent volume boost for open spaces and a low-volume mode for nighttime use.
For cameras, the POCO X8 Pro Max has a 50MP main sensor (Light Fusion 600) and a 20MP front camera. AI features include UltraSnap and Dynamic shots, which make it easier to capture motion and detail.

The phone runs on Xiaomi HyperOS 3, with smart tools like Google Gemini, Circle to Search, and a new Ticket Purchase Mode that improves performance during high-demand sales.
It also supports eSIM and Xiaomi’s Offline Communication feature for calls without a network.
