Google expands Search Live to more countries

Google is bringing Search Live to more people. The feature, which is now available in over 200 countries and territories, including the Philippines, will let users interact with Search in real time using voice and camera.

Search Live runs on Gemini 3.1 Flash Live. You can ask questions out loud or point your camera at something to get instant context. It also works with Google Lens, so you can switch into Live mode and converse about what your camera sees.

To start, open the Google app on Android or iOS, tap the Live icon under the Search bar, and just say your query. Responses come in audio form, or with visual context if you use the camera.

The rollout is part of Google’s push to make Search more helpful and accessible worldwide. The company has also been adding AI features to other tools, like live translation through headphones and creative applications powered by Gemini and Lyria.
