Google has launched the new Google Home Speaker, its first audio device powered by the Gemini voice assistant. The smart speaker is now up for pre‑order in select countries and will be available starting June 25 for $99.99 (around ₱6,060).
The Home Speaker brings Gemini’s natural, conversational AI to everyday use. It can handle multiple commands in one request, understand corrections mid‑sentence, and answer complex questions.
Users can choose from 10 voices. Features Gemini Live chats, Camera History Search, and Home Briefs add more ways to interact.
As for sound quality, the speaker delivers balanced 360‑degree audio with adaptive microphones. It also pairs with the Google TV Streamer for spatial surround sound, making it useful for entertainment setups.
Design is simple and sustainable. It uses a 3D‑knit textile finish and comes in Hazel and Porcelain, with Jade and Berry exclusive to the US. There’s a light ring that signals activity, while a physical toggle switch lets users mute the microphone for privacy.
