nubia Neo 5 Pro 5G debuts in the Philippines for ₱14,999

nubia has launched the Neo 5 Pro 5G in the Philippines, priced at ₱14,999. Positioned as the mid‑tier option in the Neo 5 Gaming lineup, the device offers upgraded performance and features tailored for mobile gamers.

The Neo 5 Pro 5G comes with a 6.8‑inch OLED display running at a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it is powered by the UNISOC T9100 processor with Mali‑G57 graphics, paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Compared to the base Neo 5, this configuration offers more headroom for multitasking and demanding games.

For cameras, the phone carries a 50MP main sensor and a 2MP secondary lens, along with a 16MP front camera. It also includes gaming‑focused hardware such as mini‑LED lighting and 550Hz Neo Triggers.

Battery capacity is 6,000mAh with support for 80W fast charging. The device also has an IP64 rating for protection against dust and splashes.

The phone runs on MyOS on top of Android 16. In terms of software updates, the handset will have 2 years of Android OS updates and up to 5 years of security patches. nubia executives said there’s a potential for even more OS updates, likely pending sales performance.
